9th Anniversary AMA ‘The Team’

In case you missed it, here are some excerpts from the recent AMA introducing the team.

Hello, lets kick things off! So my partner is a lawyer so he is already public. Here is a little about me. My name is Hari Kaushul Muralidharan, i was born in New Zealand; I grew up all over New Zealand and Australia and now i live at Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.. My dad is from India and mom is indian from Fiji, they are both doctors and divorced when i was young. My fathers family is from Anna Nagar, Chennai and my mothers adoptive parents are from Salem, Tamil Nadu.

I work for Gold Coast Health state owned Hospitals and Health Services in Clinical Governance primarily at Gold Coast University Hospital. I also run my own companies in the private sector Gold Coast Medical Corporation and our own Sui Generis Pty Ltd both are healthcare focused.

I went to highschool at Somerset College, Gold Coast and university at Bond University and Griffith University. Co-founder David and I met in highschool 9th grade, we are as brothers and went to law and business school together. He went on to practice Law while i favour Healthcare.

Hi everyone, my name is David Chung and I am a co-founder with @haribohkm. As Hari mentioned, we’ve known each other since early high school and we grew up together on the Gold Coast.

I now live in Brisbane, Australia, where I run a commercial law firm which I founded in 2017. My area of speciality is startups and early stage businesses and blockchain and crypto law.

I also have a connection with the medical/health field as I co-founded a health-tech startup in 2016 which is one of the largest telehealth solutions in Australia for psychology services.

“What is your primary motivation for creating ethrift?”
ethrift.io is the onboarding mechanism for our greater ecosystem. It is vertical integration. Motivation for building blockchain projects is in pursuit of empowering people to own their own health data and actively play a role in seeking optimal health.

”Will people earn RIFT by visiting health services and maintaining a healthy lifestyle?”
Actually RIFT has a larger role; but for example in omniCAT it will be required to have 1 RIFT to access the platform. From there gamified rewards are NFT based you can see our art tokens at app.rarible.com/omnicat

“9 years ago I wouldn’t think that a crypto token formed part of your plans. What made you decide to go down this path and does a tokenised framework provide solutions that conventional technology can’t provide.”
This is a great question. Basically this implementation was not feasible when the idea was first conceived. Blockchain has allowed this to be possible.

“What will be the use case for omni NFT?”
Right their use case is funding for the project; and as collectible for users. The platform where we are going to use them; omniCAT, has a 150day build time starting January. They are characters for story based health and medicine education. Additionally the genesis tier NFT perpetually earn token airdrops.

“Are you planning to develop and produce wearables and connected objects for healthy lifestyle”
oo nice questions; we have some very interesting designs for IoT; for example if you can imagine that the treatment is fit outs with sufficient sensors to monitor patient biometrics so the suite of devices used currently are not required as they are built in the room; we have an innovative eSthethescope design i suppose that could be classed as a wearable. Generally speaking though hardware is huge beast we are not going to tackle until our Bangkok team comes online. Yes, we consider the entire ecosystem. the patient should have all the tools they require to take preventative measures to protect their health and wellbeing.

“Whats is the most popular crypto exchange in Oz from your Pov? I used some ages ago , landscape might have changed since”
We like Btcmarkets but suppose bittrade/kraken is most popular, coinspot, coinjar, independent reserve and acx are big and coinbase obv some smaller like digital surge from Brisbane and others are coming up. FIAT gateway is tough requires many integrations so not many players.
